We focus on developing skills in javelin, shot put, discus, hammer throw, and overall athletic performance. Our mission is to provide quality coaching and training facilities to athletes of all ages and skill levels. Every year, our club consistently produces numerous state champions, national qualifiers, and All-Americans. We take pride in our athletes' accomplishments and strive to create a supportive and competitive environment for all members. With our large network of collegiate coaches, we help athletes navigate the recruiting process and find the right fit for their academic and athletic goals. Scott Skipper
Head Throws Coach
Scott was an accomplished multi-sport athlete in college, playing both football and throwing the javelin for the University Of Oregon Ducks. He started his coaching career with his son Greg, who also coaches for the club.
It's hard to review the history of track and field in Oregon without discussing the Skipper name. Scott's late brother, Art Jr., set a national high school record in the javelin for Sandy in 1988 and won the 1992 NCAA title at Oregon. His youngest brother, Tommy, broke the national prep mark in the pole vault for Sandy in 2003 and won five NCAA titles for the Ducks. Scott's son Greg, who he coached throughout his upbringing, brought six Division 1 First team All-American honors as a Hammer thrower for the Ducks, and also scored 31 points to help win four NCAA Track and Field Team National Championships. After competing in multiple USA Championships, Greg's illustrious career culminated at the 2016 US Olympic Trials. Scott has coached athletes as part of the club for over 20 years, and has collected All Ten oregon state records with the club as a result. He has had an athlete in the national top 10 rankings all 20 of those years, garnering accolades such as Shelby Moran's US#3 all time high school hammer mark along the way.

Born on November 5th, 1963, in Portland, Oregon, Dale's passion for athletics was evident from a young age. He excelled in football and track through high school and later attended Oregon State to play football.
